Dan and Pat joined Omni Tucson National Golf Club in 2001 after retiring from the Chicago area. They moved to the Townhomes West Community 3 years after living in Oro Valley for five years.

Dan, having a PhD in Forestry, retired after two careers. Fifteen years in State/Federal Environmental forestry activities, and eighteen in heavy equipment field sales in the trucking/railroad and mining industries.

Dan's volunteer experiences include Tucson National's Men's Golf Association Board Treasurer and Secretary, Co-Chair of the Omni Tucson National Habitat for Humanity Housing Project, HOA President of Fairfield Rancho Vistoso, Board Member on the Rancho Vistoso Master Association, and Council appointment to the Oro Valley Development Review Board. Dan also served as a Board Director on the Tucson National Members Association and Chaired the Greens Committee.

Currently, Dan is a Board Director on the Southern Arizona Community Associations Institute (SA-CAI) and Chair's the CAI Newsletter Committee.
